- By tram: trams run from Oost to the center; The Manor has a stop right outside, and the Lancaster's nearest stop is about 150 meters away.
- By bike: the Hoxton Lloyd lends guests free bikes, and Oost's wide streets and parks are easy cycling. Hotel Jakarta and Numa in the docklands are best with a bike.
- On foot: from the Plantage, Waterlooplein is about 10 minutes' walk, and the Old Center is just beyond.
